Position
Norrie Crawford is our Managing Director, responsible for the day to day running of our Livingston office, with additional responsibilities for the strategic development of the business. He also maintains a close liaison with all existing and potential clients. Norrie has a hands-on approach to many aspects of the business operation. This includes the preparation of project submissions & tenders, cost management of projects, technical problem solving and outlining M&E servicing strategies at scheme design phase. He takes a keen interest in ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and to a standard which ensures the complete satisfaction of each and every client.
Career
Norrie started his career in the construction industry working within the facilities department of one of the world’s leading semiconductor manufacturers. During this time, he gained extensive experience in the operation, maintenance and design of the services and plant associated with such a production plant. Whilst employed on a full time basis, he gained a Post Graduate Certificate in Building Services Engineering from Heriot Watt University. Norrie subsequently went on to work for some of the world’s leading M&E service design consultancies who were heavily involved within the semiconductor and micro-electronics industry. He has now attained over 40 years experience in building services and in recent years this has been gained across many other sectors including medical device, bioscience, leisure, commercial and education.
Norrie is a founding Director of Callidus Design Limited - Consulting Engneers.
